No Show Service Call! - High Speed Internet Service


I have been having internet service issues with Time Warner Cable since I started using their services. Because I have worked in customer service myself, I try each time I call, to be very patient with their customer service staff because most of the time, it is not their fault. However, my patience has RUN OUT!!! I am paying for High Speed Internet and should be getting at least 30mbps. However, my speed ranges between 5 & 6mbps! Are you kidding me?? Each time I call TWC, someone that cannot speak English reads their script and goes through the exact same process as the one before. I have contacted customer at lease 5 times in the past 30 days. (It could be more, but I just really don't have time to stay on the phone with them 30 minutes to 1hr each call). The last time I spoke with customer service, they decided the best thing to do would be to send out a tech to check my wiring. I was not able to schedule an appointment mid-day because I have to go to work. The earliest appointment they had was Saturday morning between 9 & 10am. Even though I didn't like this option, I agreed because I needed my Internet fixed. To make a long story short, after 2pm, I still had not heard from anyone. I decided to do a follow-up with TWC to see what the problem was. According the customer service rep, someone had called my phone and did not get an answer so my appointment was cancelled. Bold face lie! You mean to say if you were scheduled to do a job and called the residence and did not get an answer, you wouldn't leave a message??? I live alone and NO ONE from TWC ever called my phone. The service techs know that all they have to do is say they called, and everything will be ok. They have no responsibility in showing evidence of some type of contact? I have spent my entire day setting and waiting for someone that had no intentions of coming. He/she probably had other plans for the weekend! Of course now, my next available appointment is mid-day Monday! Yep, while I'm at work. I absolutely HATE poor customer service, especially when I have done everything in my power to avoid disrespecting them!! Trust me, if I had an option of a different service provider, this would surely be history! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE TIME WARNER CABLE as your INTERNET SERVICE provider! Trust me on this one...I AM NOT FINISHED! I will be walking into the local office next week and reporting this. Someone MUST be held accountable! Fire them! At this point, I DONT CARE ANYMORE! They better be careful, because these type things is what cause people to snap!
