TWC & Employees Are Liars - cable and internet


Switch from AT&T to TWC after receiving a call offering a $100 visa to switch. So since AT&T rates were higher I switched to TWC, Service ord. July 2010 installer came out couldnt get cable to work, sent another worker the next day, he buried the cable, a week later 7-8 different techs came out still no service, 2 supervisors came out still no service, finally in sept I got cable and the internet. Since october each tech that comes out tells me I need a new dvr and replace the box in the master bdrm, still more techs have come out and said you need to have dvr and 1 box replaced but we dont carry equipment in the trucks, s-o-o-o, you can pick up boxes on hampton & pleasant run here in desoto, tx. I dont think so.
I was offered $100 gift card after 90 days with twc, now they tell me my bill hasnt been paid on time so I dont qualify for the $100 gift for switching. I feel deceived by the lack of knowledge of installing and maintaing the cable and internet services. twc employees are so dumb when it calls for off the script. Today is Dec. 8, 2010, I have not had my boxes replaced yet. I called twc today and was told the earliest would be next week, why waste my time.
