Time Warner Cable Switch To TWC Gift Card Complaint

This review has been resolved or replied to by this company.
When I switched my internet service to Time Warner Cable at the end of January I was told that I was eligible for a $100 gift card and submitted all the required information at that time. I have waited the required time as specified in the Terms and Conditions of the offer but never received the gift card. I have contacted their customer service on at least six occasions to ask about the status. I was given different information each time, including: given an online site to visit to check status (was not applicable); a 1-800 number to call (was not a number associated with the offer); that someone would get back to me within 5 days (no one did); that someone would get back to me by the end of the day (no one did); and again, that for sure this time the representative herself would call back no matter what (she didn't). They have proven themselves to be unreliable, dishonest, and deceitful and downright terrible when it comes to customer service. I have been a customer of TWC for ten years (for cable) but will switch all of my services as soon as possible.

I am also having same issue I was suppose to receive mine in July it is now October have been told numerous times that I did everything correctly and I keep getting run around makes me regret switching from direct tv. I have called 10 different times and keep getting different answers! Helpppppp!

I agree I have been told the same thing and still no answer and was suppose to get it in July and it is now October and keep getting the run around. I am to the point that I want to switch back to direct tv I have had no help and I am upset.

Switching from Direct TV to Time Warner has been my biggest mistake to date. Time Warner and the gift card offer is a total and complete SCAM. You NEVER receive the gift card and the service is terrible. I have been give so many different excuses where the gift card is and when I should receive it I lost count I was recently given two different excuses about 4 hrs apart. I meet the eligibility requirements, I have waited the required wait time, given eligibility codes (that went no where) even told "the gift cards are on hold till further notice. A total bait and switch scam.

I am also having the same problem with Time Warner about my $200.00 gift card. When I call and speak to a supervisor they tell me I have complied with what was requested. I mailed them the bills they reqested to switch & save. They gave me a phonenumber to call for my reward. I just got off the phone with that number nd they told me that they had nothing to do with this promotion. That Time Warner had given me the wrong number. They told me to contact Time Warner. What Time Warner is doing to get customers to switch to them is a total scam. They should be investigated.
