Billing after cancellation of service.
When Time Warner took over Comcast they deleted all the Christian stations and raised the basic cost from $16.00 a month to over $45.00 a month with fewer channels. So, I cancelled and connected Direct TV to my house. I love it.
Now I receive several Collection Agency notices from several different agencies a week for unpaid bills over several months time. I have written and called. I do get a live human on the phone and they say that I didn't cancel, would you like to do so now. YES. Then they sent a man to my house on a Sunday afternoon to collect several months of unpaid bills. I sent him away with the same notice of cancellation.
I still receive several collection letters as well as being harassed by phone calls at work and at home.
Is there some way to make them go away permanently?
