About 5 months ago, I moved from the place I originally had internet service. I called Time Warner Cable to have my service moved, because I loved the service. The CSR told me that where I am moving, TWC does not provide for the area. So I asked the CSR to cancel the service for me, and asked what I should do with the modem, if a box would come so I could return it etc. He replies "Oh, you don't have to do anything, It's your's." I didn't feel this was right, so I asked if he was sure which he proptley let me know that the information given to me was correct. When I moved, I packed the little black modem away and brought it with me. I began to get 3 or 4 calls a day while I was at work about 3 months later. I finally got a chance to answer and was told I need to return the modem. I said thats fine, which is why I didn't throw it away, I knew the info was wrong. So the lady on the phone said I can either drop it off (closet is 75 miles away) or have a tech come get it. I chose that option. The projected date of the tech to come, he never does. So I give it another 2 days and finally call back to TWC. I was told again, that the info I was given was WRONG and that a tech cannot come pick the modem up because I dont live at the original address. So out of my own pocket I sent the modem back (because TWC cant send a prepaid box to my new address). NOW after sending the modem off, I am getting calls from a collection agency called Credit Management! You turned me over to a collections agency? This is absurd, and I want this resolved today. 859-361-0437
