This is my latest issue with TW. 1/10, I take digital box and exchange for HD box Samsung. Line expected wait 45 mins. I wait 1 hr 30 mins. Get new box, install, various prompt keys are not responding (ie menu, guide). Call TW, 10 min wait 30 min conversation. Trouble shoot. Defective box? I request technician to come to home even though Rep says I should bring in. Schedule 1/13 tech. Rep confirms. 1/12 automated call asks me to confirm 1/14 appoint! I call customer serv and schedule back original 1/13 appt. 1/13, tech comes to home with DVR BOX! Wrong box! Then tells me he can't promise to find me HD box. Replacement box may be old. Only service centers provide new boxes! Tech checks my box says defective. I call customer service. They offer $11.60 for aggravation and 3 months of Cinemax. I decline because I don't trust I won't be charged for "free upgrade".
Previously, when I exchanged old cable boxes for digital boxes, TW changed my billing plan without my consent. I went from paying $130 a month to $187. I didn't notice for months because I was doing automatic bill pay.
Inefficiency seems to be their M.O.

My next step is to film everything, record everything, and take to YouTube.
