Advised they can't confirm equipment returned on very old account


Call to arrange internet and phone service. Told initial the was an old balance but it was too old so it would be dismissed. I decided that day to call back when I had my schedule available to pick a date for set up. I call back and the csr tells me that the old Bill includes equipment changes and I have to return equipment or pay $800 .
I have had TWC in forever and remember the gentleman picking equipment up from my home. A pink receipt given to me...but obviously all the years later I have no clue where receipt is and I don't have that kind money to put out for equipment I know was returned. TWC does not offer any options other pay up our nothing.
