high price and deceptive billing
i live in san antonio tx and i have been using internet for 3 years with time warner from 2014-2017. I paid about $50-60 dollar per month and when it raise to $80 I contacted the time warner to cancel it. It appears that there is special promotion for new customer and i did not feel like paying such high price for internet. customer representative apologized and lowered to rate to $60. After few months my rates increased to $90 per month. I got angry esp since time warner was offering 29.95 for both TV and internet for new customer. I contacted the representative and this time they told me that I got special rate too long and it is about time my rate increased to full charge! Finally I contacted them and cancel it. Their final question was, "Who are you changing it to" I replied, "none of your business!" My advice to you is carefully check your bills as time warner has a bad habit of raising rate for nothing. Also do not rent modem from time warner. They charge $10 per month. Finally change it to different company as soon as you find out increased charge as they do not appreciate loyalty of old customer while maintaing average service. I paid $90 for mediocre internet service.
