Forced to pay for a technician installation when it was waived, in the first place!


To whom concern I was forced to choose to have me do a self-install my equipment. When i was ask to have a technical do the installation. A rep told me that my cable wouldn't be turn on until two weeks later & i have either to choose if i want a technical to come turn it on my cable outside a box, but I have to do a self installed. I was told now that i have to pay for a technician to do the install when i told Time Warner Rep that I needed a personal install, but now they want me to pay for some i was getting for free anyways. Also when i initial set my plan or my equipment & that i was going to be getting certain channels on my services, by the rep on the phone. I went to go pick my equipment up i was told I wasn't getting those channels & if I don't upgrade I wouldn't be able to downgrade because i would have to pay it right now. Time Warner Cable is using selling tactics to forces consumers, to pay for some they didn't sign up for with a rep on phone & asking that we do the self install, but if we/ consumers don't install it right then we've to call Time Warner to have a technician come out & we have to pay we most consumers don't know how to install the equipment in the first place. What's the used for technician for if consumers Have to do the dam installing their dam selfs!!!
