Time Warner Cable - 5th Cable box and 5 Service Appointments in 6 weeks
My experience with Time Warner Cable in NYC has been horrendous from the start. As of the last 6 weeks, it has only gotten worse. I am now on my 5th cable box in the past 6 weeks. I was supposed to have my 5th service appt this afternoon, because my cable is not working at all for the 100th time, however Time Warner canceled my appt. Not only did they cancel my appt, they sent someone 4 hours before the scheduled time, without calling me first. My doorman called me and I spoke with the gentleman they sent on the phone and let him know my appt was not til afternoon. He apologize for the mix up and said someone else would come at the correct time. I called Time Warner to double check on this because nothing ever seems to happen when it is supposed to with them. The automated system asked if I was calling about my 3PM-4PM appt and I said yes. Upon speaking with a supervisor, I have been told my appt was canceled....by whom? No clue. The customer service is negligible. I have now been on the phone (mostly on hold) with this supervisor for the past 35 minutes trying to figure out what happened and when I can reschedule. I have spoken to so many different supervisors and "customer service" reps in the past few weeks I actually don't know what to do anymore. The worst company and customer service imaginable.
